Dear Miss Tipa
Thank you so much for this year i had such a great time in P.E.
You are a really fun and cool teacher. You explain things really well
and you make topics really easy to understand.
I have learnt so much this year about health and the body.
I always understand what your explaining and you relate to our class very well.

In our practical time i really enjoy all the games you choose.
I think its really cool how you let people in  our class
choose the games and control the lesson , it gives them a
good chance to learn what being a teacher is like .
Thank you so much for teaching me so much and i hope you
have a great time in Aussie :) you will be missed.

I hope to see you in the future all the best :)

Halloween :)'

History:

The event Halloween comes from and Old Celtic celebration shortened from All Hallows Eve which is the translation for All saints day. All saints day is a period of time for the Dead spirits to walk the earth. The reason why people started to dress up was to protect themselves from the bad spirits and prevent demons from identifying the people as humans. Tick or Treating represents how the Celtics used to visit peoples homes disguised to claim a new soul.
While today it is a happy day for children to dress up from fairies to witches and visit peoples houses and get lollies in return :)

How is it celebrated:

All over the world people decorate there homes with carved pumpkins, spider webs , a scary things.
People dress up and go tick or treating and give out lollies. Watch scary movies and stay up to late hours of the night :)

The only thing we do if we celebrate it is go trick or treating.

Rules:
One rule i would have is don't let your children go trick or treating by themselves.
Watch the road
Don't stay out to late :)

Who Celebrates it ?
Everyone all over the world . I would say the only people that don't celebrate it are people who don't believe in it.

Explanation:

Halloween is a event that happens every year on the same day 31st of October. The name Halloween is a shortened name for Hallows Eve meaning All Saints day. A day when the dead or spirits can walk the earth for a amount of time. To this day it is celebrated by kids dressing up and visiting neighbouring houses saying the famous words " trick or treat" and they receive lollies in return for their effort of dressing up.

The best part of my holiday

All through the holidays i watched the RWC games and The ALL BLACKS WON :)
I had lots of fun with my family and i went to the parade and saw all the all blacks it was amazing :)

If i could change the school i would.....

If I was in charge of our school I would make lunchtimes longer on Mondays and Fridays by twenty minutes and organise 30 minute activities such as fat man splat or soccer just like Whanau sports but every week on those two days also if people are behind in study there would be 30 minute tutor lessons during this time. This will probably benefit a lot of people with there study which leaves I-learn time for sports activities and language learning.

If I was in charge of the school I would organise class trips to places such as workshops to get more hands on work. To be up close and know what there learning about is like in real life , not just leaving the class discussion in the class room. This will be good for people that are deciding what career they would like to do when they leave school. I would organise days were people could go experience being a apprentice at the kind of job they would like to do , such as going into a saloon and watching the hair dressers and learning techniques.

And lastly if I was in charge of school i would install a pool to encourage the people that aren't very confident swimmers to become water safe and understand how important it is for you. It is such and advantage for you . And during the summer it is lots of fun. I would arrange courses to study water safety and life saving courses , This would look great on any CV .
